How mihealth™ Works

The system consists of a personalized web portal for patients to access their data and, if they choose, a secure application on the patient's smart phone that can store and display their health information anytime they need to access it. mihealth™ has a messaging system that allows bi-directional communication between doctors and their patients. This also allows patients to send their information to an email address or fax machine so that they can give a clinic or other healthcare providers their doctor-verified information anytime it is needed, for example to emergency room staff.

A patient's personal health information, when shared between a patient and physician, is highly sensitive and demands a premium level of security. This is why mihealth™ is a secured platform which is password protected to allow patients to share their records with their physician and family.

mihealth™ works on Apple®*, Windows®*, Android™* and Blackberry®* smartphones. Patients’ health records and messages are stored by mihealth™ on a secure server. All the data inside the system is bi-directionally encrypted to protect patient privacy. Users must log into mihealth™ using a password to access the clinical information and messaging tool, and messages can never be sent outside of the network.


As a 58 year old professional business woman, wife and grandmother; time management and health are two of my top personal priorities.The introduction of mihealth™ services to my life is nothing less than a gift from heaven and I could not imagine going back to the previous system.


I am a 74 year old male who has been a patient of Dr._____ since he opened his practice. I believe that it is because of the care and attention he and his staff have given me over the years that I have been able to maintain a healthy quality of life.

Our interactions historically have followed the following procedure: I develop symptoms. When they become more severe I arrange for an appointment. After, an examination treatment is provided. This is probably the model for many other patients; however with new communicative technology amazing changes are taking place. I am referring specifically to mihealth™.

With mihealth™, I can seek answers to questions from my physician’s office regarding examinations, tests, or other concerns almost immediately. The experience does not create the nervousness sometimes felt in the waiting room. What I find especially useful is having access to my physician’s office when I travel abroad. For example, I am in the USA or overseas and have any fundamental health problems, I can seek their advice as to whether I should see a Doctor at once and if so I can show him or her x-rays, test results or whatever relevant health information that is included in my mihealth™ records.
